SO i’m planning on cosplaying both Kel and Tris next year, and am getting a little nervous about whether I can pull both of those amazing ladies off, so I hope it’s okay that I’m posting a picture and tagging them, to get… thoughts? on if I’d be okay as those characters.

This is the only decent pic I have of my face, but I figure those two get rained on a lot so it’s kinda okay.

Sometimes I just think of the bullshit that I’ve gotten, both in nerd spaces (comic book stores, cons), or at my own work (movie store, book store) from boys who have decided that I am a fake nerd girl (or a silly girl who doesn’t know her history, or whatever).

There’s a bunch of kinda funny instances that maybe I’ll write out and put here, or on my comic book blog, since that’s kinda what it’s for? My thoughts on comics and the culture that surrounds them, which this falls under.

I have seriously met so many ‘fake nerd boys’. They are so obvious, because they try to put you on the spot and then flounder when you know more than they do, and act like this is your fault.
